Plate as recieved from client. Original heavy mill finish. Note the darker matt grey surface and heat patina at the weld zone.

After electropolishing. Note the brightened semi reflective finish. The surface is very smooth as a result of reduced friction and micro deburring. All heat patina was removed also.
